Big Tree Restaurant 香树下海鲜

Last Sat, we had dinner, with hubby's sister and family,  at this place called 香树下海鲜..less than 10min drive from our house..

This restaurant has a big compound..and there were several fish ponds beside the restaurant...Food was pretty good and the price was reasonable too..We ordered 8 dishes and the bill came to RM103! Don't think you could find such cheap meals in Klang valley/KL!

Fried rice 炒饭

Fried porridge 炒粥 (I think the fried porridge in Serdang is better)

Abby enjoying Sunday School P&W, 22/4/12

Today in Sunday School, Abby was in a good mood..usually she was reluctant to join the P&W and either one of us need to sit beside her..but today..before the P&W started, she already sat down quietly without me realising! Then, once the teacher sang..she also sang with clapping hands, actions and moving her body..such a cute girl!

Family day to Sunway Carnival, Penang, 21/4/12

Last Sat, we went shopping at Sunway Carnival and also to watch movie - Battleship..This was the 2nd time we brought Ian along for a movie..initially I planned to ask my friend to baby-sit him..but came to think of it..macam very kesian..so decided to bring him along and prayed that he won't make noise..

The movie was 2 hrs+ long...and if you are an OCBC credit cardholder, just buy a movie ticket with your OCBC Credit Card and you'll get another ticket for free! The best part of all, this deal is good for any movie, any ticket class and at any GSC cinema..

Ian was sleeping when the movie started and Abby was quite behave too..But once Ian woke up..we can't really enjoy the movie..gotta kept Ian busy by feeding him food..took Abby to the toilet etc..Anyway, it was a good movie!

After movie, we went shopping..Abby was very excited and happy when I brought her to the toys section and also Toys R'us..She was running around the place.. busy hugging her favourite Barney..play with the toys there..and Thank God, she is still too young to request us to buy toys for her..else, it will cause a big hole inside hubby's pocket!

All in all, we had a great day..most importantly, we spent time together as a family..when we reached home, all 4 of us knocked off..slept like a pig till dinner time..lol

This afternoon, Abby was in singing mood..she kept singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, mandarin version..When I wanna joined her singing, she asked me to keep quiet!

We took the opportunity to train both children not to be afraid of water..but I guessed Abby was not ready..

Ian turned ONE year old today!

I still clearly remembered a year ago.. I wasn't sure if my water bag had burst (coz when I had Abby, my water bag burst and a huge gush of fluid went all over the floor)...all I knew was that I felt uneasy and actually thought I had wet my pants..I went to the toilet many times and changed my clothes, not knowing that it was a slow leaking of the water bag..Until noon time, my six sense told me that there was something not right...I called my hubby, who was working in Kulim and told him about my case..he advised me to see the gynae and confirm if it was a sign of delivery..so that he could prepare himself to drive back..After checking, my gynae said I had dilated for 2cm and the baby was ready to meet the world..I quickly called my hubby and asked him to come back right away, worrying that he might not make it to see the birth of his son! (I was back in Klang weeks ago)

I checked in at 4pm++..I was given an induce labor..after 4 hours of labor pain, little Ian was born safely..but..my hubby didn't make it to witness his birth ..he was 1 hour late!

Ian had a different personality as compared to his sister, Abby..Ian was more cheerful and friendly..he was not afraid of stranger..however, he had a bad sleeping habit and often made me really mad! He don't seemed to sleep well at night and could wake up 'N' times to bother you..

Ian was also a fast learner..he could sit without support when he was 5 months old..started crawling around 7 months..I was grateful that am able to breastfeed him for 8 months (with formula)...and I always encourage all mothers to breastfeed their baby, at least till 6 months old..

When Ian was about 3 months old..we discovered that he was actually born with deformity, known as pectus excavatum..when we were first told by the paediatrician..my first reaction was..WHAT's that? We thanked God that for the past one year, Ian grew up healthily..

I thanked God for the many precious moments spent with Ian for the past one year..I prayed that God will continue to bless His child and and am sure there are many more exciting years to come, to see Ian growing up to be a handsome boy!
