Today is my MIL's birthday and we chose to celebrate at Tao Cuisine, Autocity (so happen my inlaws came up to Kulim to visit us). Tao has special promotion for the month of October, in fact, there are promotions every month and also during special occasions for eg Mother's day, Father's day, Valentine's etc. So in Oct, Kids (below 140cm) eat for free (with an accompanying adult) & senior citizen gets 20% off. I have heard so much from Hubby on Tao (he went there for teambuilding event several times) and hence, was pretty excited about going to Tao finally!

 

It took about 40mins from our house to Autocity. The interior design was nicely done and because it was Halloween month, you could see many related deco and also some nice plants.

 

Tao Cuisine offers All-You-Can-Eat buffet, that cover Japanese, Chinese, Thailand and other foreign or ethic food.

We have introduced ALL U CAN EAT BUFFET in Penang since year 2006.The buffet concept Offer somewhat unlimited service with customer’s food ordering from the menu provided at the table. With the unlimited choices customer can order any items from the menu and they can repeat order without any limits until to dinner satisfaction. The menu has more than 130 dishes to choose. Basically all the dishes will serve in small portion for every single order. Its makes customers enjoy varieties of food from the menu. The management always will make sure the customer getting orders constantly without any delaying on food delivery by our well trained staffs.

There was a Sushi corner where you can find many varieties of sushi. Tao serves free flow drinks (ice lemon tea, peach tea, blackcurrent and green tea) and ice creams! We started ordering our food and personally, I think they were all delicious and yummy! Hubby said that the standard of food has increased as compared to the last time he was here.

Bottom: Shabu shabu, Yaki udon

Mango & Green Tea (highly recommended) ice cream..

After having a sumptuous dinner, we asked for the cake and all the children, sang Birthday song to Grandma!

 

 

 

All in all, it was a good meal and the staffs were very helpful and patience in serving the customers. Looking forward for my second visit, hopefully soon!
